Spartan Middle East has today unveiled the latest addition to its 2025 calendar: the Spartan Trail Run at Mushrif Park, set to take place on Saturday, December 6.
The Trail Run format strips Spartan racing back to its roots, pure trail running with no obstacles. Participants will take on a 10K course that winds through Mushrif Park’s shaded Ghaf woodlands and rugged tracks, showcasing one of Dubai’s most expansive green spaces in a whole new way. Spanning 1,300 acres and located close to Al Khawaneej, the park combines natural beauty with modern facilities, making it a scenic yet accessible venue for athletes and families alike.
The announcement builds on what has already been a milestone season for Spartan Middle East. In September, the brand hosted the UAE’s first-ever Spartan City race at Etihad Arena, which welcomed more than 4,000 athletes and spectators. This was followed in October by the Spartan Trifecta Powered by ADNOC, which drew over 4,500 attendees to Al Ain Zoo and delivered a unique race experience in the heart of a conservation park. The upcoming Mushrif Park Trail Run continues this momentum with a format designed to appeal equally to experienced runners and those seeking a new challenge.
Held in partnership with Dubai Sports Council and in association with Dubai Fitness Challenge, the event forms part of the city-wide health and wellness initiative that invites residents to commit to 30 minutes of physical activity each day for 30 days.
True to the Spartan Middle East experience, the Mushrif Park event will also feature a lively festival village with regional food and beverage vendors, interactive brand activations and family-friendly entertainment, ensuring there is plenty on offer for spectators as well as participants.
Registration for the Spartan Trail Run at Mushrif Park is now live at arabia.spartan.com, with first tier early-bird discounts available until 31 October 2025.
