Revealed: The UAE's Best Golf Courses

Online golf reservation provider Golfscape has given newly opened Dubai Hills golf course a top 50 ranking its first ever ‘World’s Top 100 Golf Courses list.
The Emaar developed 18-hole course, which opened in November last year, is ranked at 36 in the list of best golf courses in the world.
Designed by Gary Johnston, the Dubai Hills golf course is set on land nearly the size of 63 football fields, complete with meandering wadis. Playing a round of golf on the course is accompanied by views of the iconic Burj Khalifa.
The Dubai course, however, is not the highest ranked in the UAE.

Abu Dhabi’s Yas Links Golf Club
Coming in at number 15 is Abu Dhabi’s Yas Links Golf Club. Designed by Kyle Phillips, Yas Links is the first true links course in the region.
The best golf course in the UAE, according to Golfscape’s list is the Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club.
The venue for Omega Dubai Desert Classic each January, the Majlis is the first grass course in the Middle East, and features challenging holes, undulating greens, and hundreds of indigenous species of flora and fauna.
