Newly Launched Middle East Fitness Business Summit To Feature International Cricketer Turned Entrepreneur, Matt Prior

The Middle East Fitness Business Summit is a new business conference designed for fitness investors, entrepreneurs, gym owners/managers, and other fitness and wellness professionals
Taking place on 5 December 2019 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the Middle East Fitness Business Summit will feature some of the foremost business leaders working in the fitness space today.
As part of the largest fitness event in the region – the co-located Dubai Muscle Show and Dubai Active – the Middle East Fitness Business Summit is a new business conference designed for fitness investors, entrepreneurs, gym owners/managers, and other fitness and wellness professionals.
The Summit aims to further stimulate Dubai’s growth as a regional hub for the fitness industry by providing a platform for knowledge-sharing, inspiration and networking amongst the region’s burgeoning fitness business people.
Keynote Speaker for the inaugural Middle East Fitness Business Summit is Matt Prior, Founder and CEO of ONE PRO Nutrition. Matt played over 170 times for England and was part of the England team that won three Ashes Series at home and away and became the number one ranked Test side in the World in 2011.
Since being forced to retire early through injury in 2015, Matt has set about building the ONE PRO brand starting with the creation of ONE PRO Cycling and now ONE PRO Nutrition and ONE PRO Sports Events.
Matt Prior, founder of ONE PRO brand said ahead of the summit, “I'm delighted to be the Keynote speaker at the Middle East Fitness Business Summit. I spent over 10 years playing cricket at the highest level. Now my playing career is finished, I'm really pleased to have been able to move into the business world, developing a range of products that I felt the market was missing when I was a player.
"As we move into another new market this year, we see events such as Dubai Active and the Middle East Fitness Business Summit as key to our global expansion. I can't wait to share the story of how I've personally transformed from an international sportsman to entrepreneurship and plans for growing the ONE PRO brand globally."
Nick Blair, Exhibition Director of Dubai Muscle Show and Dubai Active said, “We are excited to launch our newest feature, this time for the fitness business community, with the Middle East Fitness Business Summit. We are grateful that Matt Prior has joined the Summit as Keynote Speaker, sharing his career journey from elite international sportsman to successful fitness businessman.”
Other speakers featured at the Summit include George Flooks – CEO of Fitness First Middle East, Justin Musgrove – CEO of Leejam Sports and Fitness Time Gyms, Wael El Merhabi – CEO of Body Masters, and many more industry leaders.
In addition to the Middle East Fitness Business Summit, the business programme at Dubai Muscle Show and Dubai Active 2019 includes other important events such as the REPs organised Fitness Seminars, and the Sport 360 Fit Awards 2019, the region’s largest awards ceremony for the fitness industry.
