Benson Boone In Abu Dhabi: American Singer To Headline F1 Grand Prix After-race Concert

Grammy-nominated artist Benson Boone will perform on the first night of the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix After-Race Concerts, organisers have confirmed.

The American singer-songwriter is scheduled to take the stage at Etihad Park on December 4, 2025, launching the four-day entertainment programme that forms part of the Yasalam experience presented by e&.

This announcement follows news that pop star Katy Perry will headline the closing concert on Sunday night.

Grammy nominee Benson Boone to kick off Abu Dhabi F1 weekend concerts

“We are delighted to secure Benson Boone for the 2025 After-Race Concerts line-up and feel his energy and charisma make him the perfect choice to kick-start a thrilling weekend of racing and entertainment across Abu Dhabi. Appealing to the next generation of fans was a key consideration in curating the 2025 line-up. We’re seeing a significant shift in audience demographics, with Formula 1 capturing the imagination of younger fans like never before. Bringing in artists who resonate with this emerging audience ensures we continue to deliver a dynamic and inclusive experience that speaks to fans of all ages,” David Powell, Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer at Ethara said.

Boone has established himself as a major figure in contemporary music with over ten billion global streams.

His January 2024 release Beautiful Things topped charts in multiple countries, spending seven weeks at number one on the Billboard Global 200 Chart.

The track reached the top position in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Norway, France, Germany, Ireland, and New Zealand.

His debut studio album Fireworks & Rollerblades was released in April 2024, and in February 2025, he received a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.

The After-Race Concerts are exclusive to Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders, with Golden Circle upgrades available for fans wanting premium access to the performances.

Two additional headline acts are yet to be announced for the concert series.
