ADNOC has been announced as the Headline Partner of the Spartan Trifecta Weekend at Al Ain Zoo, taking place from October 11 to 12.
The event will now be officially titled the Spartan Trifecta Powered by ADNOC at Al Ain Zoo, marking a major partnership that combines ADNOC’s commitment to health, fitness, and youth development with Spartan’s global mission to build resilience through sport.
Landmark partnership
As Headline Partner, ADNOC will play a central role in expanding access to the Spartan Trifecta, encouraging participation from athletes, families, and young people across the UAE.
The partnership aligns closely with ADNOC’s broader social responsibility efforts, which champion national fitness initiatives and youth empowerment.
“ADNOC’s support is transformational for Spartan in the UAE. Their focus on wellbeing and youth engagement aligns perfectly with our mission – with ADNOC’s backing, this year’s Trifecta Weekend promises to be our most inclusive and impactful edition yet,” said Isla Watt, Director for Spartan Middle East.
The Spartan challenge returns
The Trifecta Weekend will feature Spartan’s three signature race formats:
- Sprint – 5km with 20 obstacles
- Super – 10km with 25 obstacles
- Beast – 21km with 30 obstacles
Athletes who complete all three across the weekend will claim the prestigious Spartan Trifecta medal.
Alongside the flagship races, the weekend will include:
- Spartan Kids Races (ages 4–14, 1km–3km), introducing children to the Spartan spirit in a safe, fun environment.
- Festival Village with live entertainment, food and beverage outlets, recovery areas, and family-friendly activities.
Set against the backdrop of Al Ain Zoo’s wildlife and landscapes, the event will showcase sport in harmony with nature, adding a unique cultural and conservation dimension.
The Spartan Trifecta Powered by ADNOC strengthens Al Ain’s position as a hub for international competition, while contributing to Abu Dhabi’s vision of promoting community health, resilience, and national pride on the global sporting stage.
