Investcorp, a global provider and manager of alternative investments, said it will launch a $100 million fund dedicated to Oman’s Pension Funds.

The fund will be focused on private equity investments in the US and Europe, targeting mid-sized companies across a broad range of sectors.

Mohammad Al Ardhi, the Executive Chairman of Investcorp, said:

“Oman is an important market for Investcorp and we are committed to playing an active role in supporting the development of its economy. This commitment was reiterated earlier this year when we held our Board of Directors meeting for the first time here. It is also reaffirmed through our continuing collaboration with the Ministry of Defence Pension Fund.”
