Pipeline to link Enoc terminals with Al Maktoum International Airport
Dubai: Enoc Group said on Sunday its subsidiary Horizon Terminals has awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction contract for a jet fuel pipeline to Dubai-based Albanna Engineering.
The 16.2-kilometre-pipeline will link Enoc’s storage terminals in Jebel Ali with Al Maktoum International Airport. Construction of the pipeline is expected to be completed in 24 months, and will be operational in the first quarter of 2020 in time for Expo 2020, Enoc said.
Upon completion, the pipeline will carry 2,000 cubic metres of jet fuel per hour to the airport.
