AB Crossfire: Will Cryptocurrency Replace Fiat In The Near Future?

Amidst concerns over volatility, regulations and the absence of a unified legislation, will cryptocurrency go mainstream and replace fiat in the near future?
On this week's Crossfire debate, Saaeed Al Darmaki from the Alphabit Fund and Maher Yamout from Kaspersky debate on the mainstream popularity of cryptocurrency.
While Al Dharmaki made bold statements of trusting the Bitcoin network over any government, Yamout raises questions on the trustworthiness of cryptocurrency.
They also discuss facebook's Libra project, which aims to promote financial inclusion through a safe, low-cost and efficient way of sending and receiving payments around the world.
