Manama: Bahrain’s air defences have successfully intercepted and destroyed aerial attacks launched by Iran, according to the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force.

In a statement reported by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the General Command said Iran had continued what it described as a “systematic hostile approach” through missile and drone attacks targeting civilians in the Kingdom.

The statement added that the deliberate use of such weaponry against civilian areas and private property constitutes a clear violation of international humanitarian law.
